Happy Happy Ho Ho
It’s been so nice to not be at work and get to hang out with friends and be festive.
Last night, I went to Z and Rhiannon’s for their little get together. Rhiannon is such a little domestic goddess. She made apple cider and a bunch of cookies and peanut brittle and what have you. And I am so excited! They got me the Elliott Smith CD I wanted. Score.
This morning, I met up with Kira at Starbucks and she gave me the Jeff Buckley CD I wanted. Double score. My friends are so rad. We were out on the patio and Russ and Matt drove by, so they ended up hanging out with us. Julius also showed up, so it was really cool to just hang and drink coffee together.
Then I picked up my mom and we went to our secret jewelry spot since I still hadn’t bought my older sister a present. And I scored. I got her a white gold Hello Kitty pinky ring. For $25! I rule.
Anyways, tonight will be more friends and probably a late night stop at the Lamp. And then tomorrow, we are having Christmas at my older sister’s house. We are having Filipino food, which is unusual because we usual have American Thanksgiving and Christmas. But I am down for some lechon and lumpia and baked fish.
